Description:
A dynamic variation of Crescent Lunge that builds strength, balance, and detoxification. This twist activates the core and challenges stability while opening the spine and chest.
Alignment Cues:

Front Foot and Leg:
- Front foot planted firmly, knee stacked over the ankle
- Thigh parallel to the floor if possible

Back Foot and Leg:
- Ball of the back foot pressing down, heel lifted
- Back leg straight and strong with lifted quadriceps

Hips:
- Hips square to the front of the mat
- Keep hips level as you move into the twist

Torso and Twist:
- Lengthen the spine on the inhale
- Twist from the mid-back on the exhale, keeping the core engaged

- Bring hands to prayer at heart center
- Hook opposite elbow outside the front knee to deepen the twist
