Access beneficial qualities of awareness, transform your yoga practice, and awaken to your greatest potential! In this three-hour workshop we will explore ancient meditation techniques, drawn from Buddhist traditions, in order to deepen our presence, connection, and insight.
If you have ever been curious about meditation, want to broaden your understanding of yoga as a spiritual practice, or wish to improve calmness, compassion, and clarity….this workshop is for you!
During the first two hours, participants will be introduced to various styles and goals of meditation. They will then be guided through these techniques, connecting them to the breath and movement practices of yoga. In the last hour, participants will be guided through a yoga practice that incorporates these meditation techniques, uniting mind and body.
NOTE: This is an interactive workshop, open to all levels of experience, with time for short breaks and discussion. What to bring: yoga mat, cushion, comfortable clothes, water, open heart, open mind!
